About

Cinematic, character-led film to accompany a Guardian report on the arrival of new palm oil plantations in post-war Liberia. Bacchus is a 35 year-old ex-teacher working for the new mill, and the job gives him a chance of a better life. But Lee Sworh, a local activist, wants to protect the community from exploitation. Two different perspectives on one plot of land at the frontier of the new palm oil industry.
